Joe Barr, PhD

Joseph Barr, Ph.D. is the Chief Technology Officer of EntelMed, Inc. Since 2017, Mr. Barr has served as the Chief Data Scientist and Managing Director of Barr Analytics LLC, where he engages with customers on projects relating to data science, cybersecurity, optimization, and econometrics. His clients span a wide range of industries, including software, entertainment, financial services, and manufacturing.

 

From 2014 to 2017, Mr. Barr was Chief Analytics Officer of Home Union, an investment company specializing in an alternate class of assets, with annual revenue of $15 million. Mr. Barr reported directly to the CEO of Home Union and built the new data practices for the company, which included big data technologies, data science practice, and data science governance practices.

 

Mr. Barr has a Ph.D. in Mathematics from University of New Mexico, an M.S. in Mathematics from Florida State University, and a B.A. in Mathematics & Statistics from University of Haifa (Israel).

Vagelis Hristidis, PhD

Vagelis Hristidis, PhD., is a professor of computer science at the University of California, Riverside. He is the president of SmartBot360. SmartBot 360 is a platform to easily create, manage, and share AI chatbots. It empowers customer agents to increase their user interactions by offloading routine tasks to the AI powered chatbots. In addition, Vagelis is the founder of PatentSearcher.com.

Daniella D’Auria, PhD

Daniella D’Auria, PhD. is a Scientist at EntelMed, Inc. Since 2020, Ms. D’Auria has been an Assistant Professor of Medical Devices and Robotics at Free University of Bozen-Bolzano (Italy). Since 2011, Ms. De’Auria has been involved in the organization of a variety of conferences relating to artificial intelligence, robotics, and engineering.

 

Ms. D’Auria is the author of dozens of articles published or presented in peer-reviewed journals and conferences. Ms. D’Auria holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Automation Engineering from University of Naples Federico II (Italy), and a Laurea degree (equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree) in Biomedical Engineering from University of Naples Federico II (Italy).
